I am thirteen years old and have attended the Christian Science Sunday School since before I was three. I have had many opportunities to use Christian Science, both for myself and for members of family. I like to think of myself as a Christian Science practitioner, and I pray for the world as well as for myself and sometimes, when asked, for my friends.

Recently I had a healing that pleased me very much. One day after I had been swimming, one ear was stopped up. I thought it would probably drain in a few days. After about a week it had not drained, so I turned to the Concordance to Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy and looked up the word "ear." I found a wonderful definition in the textbook which reads (ibid., p. 585): "Ears. Not organs of the so-called corporeal senses, but spiritual understanding. Jesus said, referring to spiritual perception, 'Having ears, hear ye not?' " I found this most inspiring, and it was very clear to me. After I had worked by myself with that inspiration, the ear soon drained.

I cannot express enough joy for being a student of Christian Science.
