Christian Science Church Center
PROGRESS REPORT No. 33
Buildings take shape in steel and concrete, but Church rises out of inspiration. How apparent this becomes as work on the Christian Science Church Center moves forward!
It was a cold and snowy evening on March 3, but inspiration radiated warmly through a meeting in The Mother Church to report progress on the Church Center to employees and local members.
The Clerk of The Mother Church, Charles Henry Gabriel, served as chairman. Mr. Gabriel opened the meeting with selections from the Bible and the writings of Mary Baker Eddy. The first Scriptural passage set the tone for the meeting: "Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it" (Ps. 127: 1).
