The following experience is one of many proofs I have had of the truth that all real being is embraced in divine Love. Some years ago while I was on my way to pick up my son and some other children at school, my car was hit by another car at an intersection and was turned over.
At the time of the impact, I felt no fear. These words came to me immediately: "God does not know anything about evil. There are no accidents in divine Mind. Man, who is the image and likeness of God, dwells in infinite light and harmony where God, who is his Father, dwells. Nothing harmful can ever happen to God's perfect idea." The most wonderful glow seemed to surround me. It was as if the windows of heaven had opened.
People came forward and righted the car for me, and although it was in bad condition, I was able to continue my drive to school. I was unhurt and suffered no sense of shock. Two boys, sixteen years of age, were the occupants of the other car. They were unhurt, although their car, after hitting mine, had crashed into a tree.
