Randy Gets Help

[For children]

At the sound of the bell, Randy closed his arithmetic book and cleared off his desk. He and Bob had invited Gregg, the new boy on the block, to go for a bicycle ride after school. They were going to meet on the street behind the school garage and then ride up to an old abandoned clay mine.

As Randy hurried out of his classroom, his teacher stopped him and said, "I have to go home right away. Will you take this paper to the Principal's office for me?"

This made him late reaching the garage. As he approached, he heard angry voices. And when he came around the corner, he was showered with gravel. Bob and Gregg were pelting each other.
