In Psalms we read (40:5), "Many, O Lord my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered." How true this is for those who are following the teachings of Christian Science!

Many are the times that God's care and protection have been proven to me and mine. "If I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered."

Two of the most outstanding proofs were the healing of grief when I lost two very dear ones within a few months of each other and of painless childbirth. A few days after the passing of my foster mother I was going through some of the scrapbooks she had kept, and I found a clipping quoting from an article entitled, "There is No Death," in The First Church of Christ, Scientist, and Miscellany by Mrs. Eddy (p. 297): "A suppositional gust of evil in this evil world is the dark hour that precedes the dawn. This gust blows away the baubles of belief, for there is in reality no evil, no disease, no death; and the Christian Scientist who believes that he dies, gains a rich blessing of disbelief in death, and a higher realization of heaven." I at once felt great comfort.
