Our Gratitude—Is it Overflowing?

Is life a drab experience or is it thrillingly alive for you? Is your well-being a hit-or-miss proposition or a constant factor? Is each day dreary, depressing, frightening, or is it challenging and full of interest? Your response may very well lie in your answer to this question : Is your gratitude insignificant or overflowing?

A heart that overflows with gratitude does not find life drab or dreary. The thought that glows with thankfulness is not depressed or dragged down with discordant beliefs. The one who is filled with joy for God's great goodness to each of His children is neither weary nor frightened.

One may ask, "How can I be grateful, when so much is wrong and I have so little to be grateful for?" We can begin by thanking God that He is all the Life, Love, and Mind there is, without an opposite or opposition. We can thank Him that He made man in His likeness, and we can be grateful that this likeness reflects perfect Life, invariable Love, and all-knowing Mind.
