Years ago, before I knew of Christian Science, I experienced many difficulties and anxieties. I steadfastly asked God for guidance and help, and this request was heard.

When I was still living in Prague, a student who was collecting contributions for a student aid project called on us. After he had gone, we found a Christian Science pamphlet lying on the floor. Apparently he had lost it when opening his briefcase. That is how I became acquainted with Science. Soon thereafter I bought the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, and looked up the Church of Christ, Scientist, in Prague.
