The Continuity of Being
The Preacher declared; "I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it.... That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past." Eccl. 3:14, 15;
Christian Science, which is in perfect accord with the Scriptures, declares that the origin and continuity of all true being is in the self-existing and self-revealing divine Mind, or God. The infinitude of Spirit precludes the possibility of another creator or creation. Spirit, God, made all that was made and called it good. He made man in His own image and likeness and gave him dominion over all His creation. Because Spirit is substance, the continuity of all that really exists is ensured.
