I should like to express my heartfelt gratitude for Christian Science and for class instruction by telling of a blessing I received the day after the last class meeting.

I had not had a home by myself for several years because I am a widow. I had shared the home of an elderly German woman for the two and a half years prior to having class instruction. Although I longed for a place where I could read and study in privacy, I realized that my leaving her would be a hardship because she needed the rent from the room but had no furnishings for it. I had my own furniture.

Several times I considered a room or a small apartment that had been available within walking distance of my work, for I have no car; but the thought persisted that it was not yet right for me to leave my landlady. Mrs. Eddy tells us in Science and Health (p. 206), "In the scientific relation of God to man, we find that whatever blesses one blesses all, as Jesus showed with the loaves and the fishes,—Spirit, not matter, being the source of supply."
