True Expectation
Expectation plays a major role in one's daily experience. Yet how often expectancy is tempered with uncertainty rather than with surety!
One may expect enhancement of salary or advancement of position but find instead static response, which may cause anxiety or discontent. Or one may expect security from material investments but experience loss.
One might then assume that expectation is unwise; but, on the contrary, it is desirable and right, provided Spirit, not matter, is its basis. In the textbook, Science and Health, Mrs. Eddy tells us, "When the destination is desirable, expectation speeds our progress." Science and Health, p. 426;
