Because my life is dedicated to the glory of God, I take this excellent opportunity, provided by the Christian Science periodicals, to testify to the effectiveness of the Christ, Truth. Christian Science reveals Truth to the open mind when this religion is earnestly studied and applied in everyday life.

For more than thirty years the Bible, the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, and her other writings have guided, protected, sustained, and healed me and mine.

One evening in an accident in the kitchen I sustained a severe blow on the back of my head and landed with such force on the floor that momentarily I seemed unable to breathe. As I got to my feet, I acknowledged that God's man had never fallen from his state of perfection. While the physical senses indicated that I had a deep gash on the back of my head, which was bleeding profusely, I knew that lying, mortal sense testimony could never deprive me of my true spiritual selfhood, which is always perfect and complete. I finished my kitchen work and retired to sleep comfortably all night. When I combed my hair the next morning, the back of my head was smooth to the touch.
