Are We Prepared?

If you were suddenly offered the opportunity to heal, would you be prepared to answer the call?

Mrs. Eddy says in Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, "Only as we rise above all material sensuousness and sin, can we reach the heaven-born aspiration and spiritual consciousness, which is indicated in the Lord's Prayer and which instantaneously heals the sick." ^{Science and Health, p. 16;}

Christian Science teaches us how to prepare for all good through prayer, how to rise above the suggestions offered by the five physical senses, or the carnal mind, how to lift thought above and away from the original sin—belief in matter and a material universe. As one humbly and obediently follows these instructions, fortified with a deep sense of gratitude for our Father-Mother God's allness and loving care for His children, blessing follows. Healing then takes place.
