Since my first testimony was published in 1926, my dependence on Christian Science for correction, courage, and comfort has been continuous. There have been many problems; but to the degree that I have cognized the spiritual fact, there has been harmonious adjustment. I have experienced many physical healings, and the study of Christian Science has also been a protection against illness.

At one time a tooth ached so severely that it was difficult for me to think. I began to study the Christian Science Quarterly Lesson-Sermon for that week, striving to realize the truth of the spiritual facts therein. By the time I had completed the lesson, the pain had subsided and I was free. Never since then have I had a toothache.

Another time there were warts on both my hands. It was not until a fellow worker suggested various material remedies to cure them that I woke up to the fact that I needed to do specific prayerful work in Christian Science. From that moment I refused to accept the warts as real, I realized that in the one perfect Mind there is no false growth, nothing abnormal, and whatever is not in this infinite Mind has no existence. The first day it was evident the warts were fading, and by the third day my hands were clear and have remained so.
