Gratitude is the basis of prosperity. A gentleman spoke those words to me. At first. I didn't know what he was talking about. After thinking the matter over, ... I discovered the truth in it.
Let the businessman be grateful for his customers. He will strive harder to please them. He will treat them better when they walk in the door. Since customers like to do business under pleasurable circumstances, they will return. Some may even tell their friends.
