The study of Christian Science has brought ever-increasing mental freedom into my home and a better sense of health to each member of the family.

I have been grateful for the continuing unfoldment and inspiration which have come as the result of a healing which took place three years ago. Each winter I had been plagued with an itching condition of the skin. Although there was no visible evidence, this condition was unpleasant and at times a torment. In Christian Science we are taught not to look to matter for cause, since, as Mrs. Eddy says (Science and Health, p. 207): "There is but one primal cause. Therefore there can be no effect from any other cause, and there can be no reality in aught which does not proceed from this great and only cause."

I found myself, however, believing that the condition was brought about by the drying air of furnace heat, and, of course, as long as I accepted this belief I was subject to it. One winter I determined to demonstrate the truths I had been studying, and I started doing specific work in Christian Science.
