College Organizations

The challenges of college life provide many opportunities to turn to God as the source of intelligence, ability, purpose, joy, health, and happiness. And through the varied channels of the college organizations, students are able to speak confidently, clearly, and joyfully of the truth of being to their student friends and to the world. What are some of the successful ways by which organization members have communicated a "reason of the hope that is in [them]"? (I Pet. 3:15.)

California: Much progress and spiritual growth have been demonstrated to our organization at our Wednesday noon meetings. Our membership has almost doubled this past year. Each Wednesday many helpful and heartfelt testimonies are lovingly shared. The Christian Science hymns are sung with much thought and upliftment. The readings from the desk present each member with fresh and Godlike ideas.

Texas: At our testimony meetings we have had a most faithful attendant who is the only student of Science in her family and who has had to struggle on in the face of strong parental opposition. Recently, however, both her parents have come to church with her, and her mother has come alone when the daughter was out of town.
