About two years ago our young son, then under two, was injured and lost consciousness. When we were unable to rouse him, my husband, who is not a Scientist, bundled the child up and took him to a local doctor.

The doctor diagnosed a brain concussion and skull fracture, predicting that the boy probably would not regain consciousness for at least thirty-six hours, or it might be days. He asked that we place the child in the hospital for observation. When I was confronted with this suggestion, my heart desperately reached out to God for guidance.

As I glanced at the motionless baby the words, "This is not the truth," came forcefully to thought, and this angel message had its effect. My husband did not insist on the hospitalization, and we decided to take the still unconscious child home with us and accept the responsibility accompanying our action.
