It is with much gratitude for the many wonderful healings and blessings that have come to me through Christian Science that I write this testimony.

From early childhood, I attended a Protestant Sunday School. I loved the Bible very much and was able to recite many chapters from memory, but still I seemed to have a great fear of many things. When in school, if it looked as if we were to have a storm, I was so afraid I would just get up and run out of school without hat or coat or asking permission of my teacher. My mother was always waiting at the gate for me and would take me into the house and hold me in her arms until the storm was over.

In my teens a member of my family became ill but was no better after having an operation. Christian Science was presented to the family, and the dear one was healed. I accepted this religion at once and with the help of a practitioner was healed of the fear of storms and other things. I could see then that with all my love for the Bible I had not really claimed the good or the healing contained in it for myself.
