Good Multiplies

We need never fear that the good which appears in our experience can end. God is its source, and good wells up within our consciousness, giving us wisdom, intelligence, and love, which we may apply in every contingency. Divine Love unfolds its qualities and ideas forever; and once it is understood, this fact operates as a law of multiplication of good in human experience. A sense of expansiveness grows within us when our thoughts reflect God, even though our efforts to be just or unselfed may meet no appreciation from others.

Christian Science reveals that good is Truth. Jesus constantly demonstrated the law of multiplication of good, and he taught people to expect such an effect when they manifested the divine nature. For instance, he said (Luke 6:38), "Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom."

Here is a statement of unfailing law, which constantly controls our experience when we obey it. Giving generously, sharing what we possess, going out of our way to explain Christianity as we learn it in Christian Science, comforting those who mourn, and healing the sick are ways of giving which invariably multiply our sense of good. They indicate God-derived action, and they increase our ability to release the flood of Christly energies of good, which is ever at the door of human thought.
