This statement of Mrs. Eddy's on page 22 of "Retrospection and Introspection"...
This statement of Mrs. Eddy's on page 22 of "Retrospection and Introspection" has meant much to me as a longtime student of Christian Science: "God is over all. He alone is our origin, aim, and being. The real man is not of the dust, nor is he ever created through the flesh; for his father and mother are the one Spirit, and his brethren are all the children of one parent, the eternal good."
The quality of the parent-child relationship in my home as I was growing up was such as to enable me readily to comprehend and to accept all that Christian Science teaches of the completely unselfed and dependably enduring and protective qualities inherent in true parenthood.
