I must express my deep gratitude for Christian Science and all that I have received from it. Since my acceptance and study of the teachings of this religion, I have experienced constant and harmonious unfoldment and development. Mary Baker Eddy writes in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 99), "Truth has furnished the key to the kingdom, and with this key Christian Science has opened the door of the human understanding." This has indeed been proved true in my experience.

Surely the turning point of my life came upon my entering high school four years ago. I entertained a poor attitude and lacked ambition. Mesmerized by the fun others seemed to have, I was unwilling to understand the restrictive discipline my parents placed upon me and resented it. I was satisfied with my of mortal mind. At this time I was like one who knows there is a light switch in a dark room but hasn't sense enough to turn the light on.

At this point, I became truly interested in Christian Science and began a fervent and revealing study of it. I had to choose between God's divine government or mortal mind's anarchy. The choice was easy, and my life began to unfold more pleasantly.
