RADIO PROGRAM NO. 237 — Building Marriage on a Solid Foundation

Questioner: You can hardly pickup a magazine or newspaper without seeing an article on marriage. Many people are concerned about what can be done to enhance a marriage, to put it on a solid foundation. What could you offer on the subject particularly to young people?

Speaker: Building a marriage is, as you've implied, a big subject. Let's talk about one facet of it that you mentioned, that is, putting it on a sound foundation. I think a marriage does have to be built. It's something like building a house which requires sound building materials and a solid foundation to erect the house on.

In the Bible we read the parable Jesus used when he spoke of the house built on the rock as compared to the one built on the sand.
