Christian Science has been my only physician for many years, and I have experienced many blessings from relying on its teachings.
When I was four years old my parents moved to a farming community near Oconto, Wisconsin, where the first Christian Science church was built. I have two older sisters who went to school in Oconto and one of them lived in the home of a consecrated Christian Scientist, who later was called to serve in Mrs. Eddy's home. Both sisters attended the church and often played the organ for the services.
It is such a comfort in these so-called troubled times to know that we have the teachings and healings of our great Master, Christ Jesus, revealed and explained to us through Mrs. Eddy, whose obedience and consecration to God's direction gave the divine revelation of Christian Science to the world.
