At the age of twelve I changed...
At the age of twelve I changed from the orthodox Sunday School and church of which I was a member to Christian Science. The great love expressed in the Churches of Christ, Scientist, I visited attracted me. I had been searching for proof of Christian healing in our time. I felt perfectly sure that Christ Jesus did not restore life and heal sickness as well as sin for his time alone.
I am grateful for membership in The Mother Church and a branch church. I am happy to find the true meaning of Church and its perfect consistency. In this present-day world where there is so much compromise with and condoning of sin, it is gratifying to me to know that sin of any kind cannot find tolerance as we learn to follow Truth.
There is no disease that cannot be healed, nor is there a problem that cannot be solved when we diligently search and apply the teachings given us by our Leader. We must face the wrong squarely, give up much of our earthly love, and many times have only God as our friend.
