I should like to express my...
I should like to express my gratitude for Christian Science and for the many blessings it has brought to our family over the years. We have had many healings. Our four children have had the privilege of attending Sunday School. I am especially grateful for the fact that the children use their knowledge of the truth taught in Sunday School to solve their everyday problems.
Our twenty-one-year-old son has had proofs of God's protection, one of which I should like to relate.
One Saturday evening after a concert on the college campus he and his girl friend were walking to the sweet shop when they were attacked by a group of young men who were under the influence of alcohol. They beat our son; and just before he became unconscious and fell, Jesus' words came to him, "Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do" (Luke 23:34).
