I wish to express gratitude and love for Christian Science and our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, its Discoverer and Founder. Through the years I have witnessed and experienced many proofs of God's healing power. One experience of particular significance took place some years ago when my son was a young boy.

Upon my arrival home from work one evening, I found a communication from the office of the school principal, It stated that the boy was suffering from a very serious condition of adenoids and enlarged tonsils and that unless the condition was corrected immediately, he the principal, would have to take further steps.

A sense of fear assailed me and seemed to engulf me. I feared I might be forced to resort to medical means. The very thought was extremely objectionable to me, for the boy had never been under medical treatment of any kind and had known the working out of problems through prayer alone.
