Words are inadequate to express...
Words are inadequate to express my gratitude for the great truths of Christian Science. I had studied this Science for many years, but it required a severe test to bring me into the understanding of its eternal, operating law.
For several months I had suffered extreme pain in the left side of my chest; this was accompanied by a fear of malignant disease. I sought the help of a Christian Science practitioner; and with the aid of her spiritual understanding of God and man, I received the blessing of a very quick healing. This healing took place at our second meeting, following my decision to apply not only for membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church but also for class instruction.
I am grateful to have received numerous healings over the years. One was that of a cyst on one of my eyelids. Well-meaning relations tempted me to seek medical aid; but the practitioner helped me to stand firmly for Truth, and in a short time the cyst completely disappeared. With a full heart I can sing with the Psalmist (Ps. 36:7): "How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings."
