I was suffering from a nervous breakdown when Christian Science came into my life. The doctors told me that they could do nothing more for me, advising me to try to get as much rest as I could and hope for the best.

Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy was given to me at this time. I read it through several times from cover to cover. Then I decided I should like to know more about how to apply Christian Science to my own immediate needs.

My husband told me that there were practitioners who would help me. Thereupon, I went to a Christian Science Reading Room and inquired of the attendant how to go about getting in touch with a practitioner. She gave me the instructions I needed.
