"Christ comes again"
The yearly celebration of Christmas, when thoughtfully pondered, again brings into sharp focus the fact that the coming of Christ is a daily and hourly affair. In the practical application of Christian Science to his daily tasks, the individual may become keenly aware of the manifestation of God's power and love. The presence of the healing Christ then becomes the joy and inspiration of his daily life.
When we properly define the Christ as the divine idea of God, the message of Truth and Love, the healing power of divine Principle, then we can see why the coming of Christ is more than a yearly experience. Celebrating the birth of Jesus is honoring the messenger, the highest human representative of the Christ, the one who more than all others identified himself as the Son of God. Acknowledging the Christ is far more than a remembrance of a human person; it is feeling the vital, living relationship of God and man as Father and Son.
When one has been healed of sickness or sin, guided by divine Mind in his personal relations or business problems, protected by divine Love, or comforted in his deepest needs, he has experienced the coming of Christ. Hymn No. 34 from the Christian Science Hymnal says,
