Divine Science, the Gift of God
Who does not enjoy a gift? Regardless of one's economic position or social status, everyone wants to feel he is loved and appreciated. Sometimes one receives a gift because of a service rendered; at other times because he is the object of some person's affection.
There are various types of gifts —some valuable, others mere trinkets. But there is one gift that is priceless. This gift comes from God, and it can never wear out or become obsolete. It is the Comforter, which was promised by Christ Jesus as he was nearing the end of his earthly career.
Jesus said to his followers (John 16:13), "When he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come."
