WORDS OF CURRENT INTEREST
[The words in this issue are related to the Lesson-Sermon in the Christian Science Quarterly designated to be read in Christian Science churches on June 14, 1964.]
Saul, yet breathing out THREATENINGS AND SLAUGHTER (Acts 9:1)
The word "yet," that is, "still," reminds us that this was but a continuation of Saul's persecuting activity as outlined in Acts 8:3, where we read that he "made havock of the church" and imprisoned its members; while he had previously concurred in the martyrdom of Stephen (see Acts 8: 1) .
There shined round about him A LIGHT FROM HEAVEN (Acts 9:3)
