RADIO PROGRAM No. 131 - Where Can I Find Justice?

INTERVIEWER: "There is no such tiling as justice in or out of court." Few people, fortunately, would agree with such an extreme statement as that one which was made by the famous American lawyer Clarence Darrow. On the other hand, no doubt, many do feel at times that justice is not always what it should be: for instance, when one has been falsely accused; when minority groups are discriminated against; when a promotion you deserve does not come along; when there is favoritism in a family; or when an inheritance is wrongly distributed. When such things happen, justice seems to be an illusive something, entirely out of reach. What are your comments on this subject?

SPEAKER: What you have said often seems to be the picture all right, but the Bible is the source of hope through which we can overcome injustice. It is the Bible that gives us the basis for lifting our concept of justice above the limiting human concepts of it.

INTERVIEWER: What does the Bible offer in terms of justice?
