"A full salvation"

"Our redemption from mortality is now!"

The Apostles Paul and Silas once said, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved" (Acts 16:31). For centuries, religious thought has generally interpreted this statement as promising salvation from some kind of eternal damnation. The modern skeptic, no longer believing in the promise of a material heaven or fearful of a material hell, asks, "Saved from what?"'
