Christ Jesus said (Matt. 28: 20), "Lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world."

Many years ago my home was in a small town above the Arctic Circle in a European country, and I felt that I was living at the end of the world. I was therefore very grateful to God for my membership in The Mother Church, which seemed like a guiding star in a winter night.

Later on I moved to the capital city, where there was a Church of Christ, Scientist. At this time I was hard of hearing, being deaf in one ear because of a ruptured eardrum and not hearing much in the other. At the first service I attended in this church, I did not hear any of the readings. After I had attended the church services and meetings for six months, my hearing was normal.
