To those who have been reared in a Christian Science Sunday School and have known no other healing agent but the power of God, there still comes the testing time when they must make their own decisions. For me this experience occurred in my last year in high school; and in gratitude for the blessings received, I should like to share the experience with others.

In the autumn I attended a camp for the school athletic teams during which time I became ill. I tried to keep up with the activities but found it was very difficult to even stand up. I left the activities and went to my cabin to get some rest, feeling that this would solve the problem. When the other campers came to dress for dinner, I found that I could not get out of bed.

I became alarmed and requested one of the campers to call my family. Instead of doing this, she notified the camp authorities, who came to investigate. Again I requested that my family be called, but they considered it wiser to telephone a doctor first. He prescribed a drug and requested that I be isolated from the other campers until he could call at the camp to examine me.
