Jesus said (John 8:32), "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." It is my gratitude for Mrs. Eddy's revelation of the meaning of this wonderful saying that has enabled me to be free of many false claims of mortal mind and has prompted me to write this testimony.
Before I knew anything of Christian Science, I had experienced a slipped disk on three occasions. I wore a steel support and was threatened with the necessity of wearing it and therefore never bending my back for the rest of my life. Soon after I learned something of Christian Science, I discarded the support, and since then I have performed all my household duties, including interior decorating and laundry, without any domestic help and with complete freedom.
For many years I visited a chiropodist regularly for treatment of ingrowing toenails. After my knowledge of Christian Science increased, I found this to be quite unnecessary, and my feet have not troubled me since. Shoes I had discarded as uncomfortable, I can now wear without any discomfort. The toes are healed.
