Establishment of the new post of Executive Assistant to The Christian Science Board of Directors was announced by the Board. Charles Henry Gabriel has resigned as Publishers' Agent of the Trustees under the Will of Mary Baker Eddy to accept appointment to the new position, effective April 1.
As Executive Assistant to the Board of Directors, Mr. Gabriel will take over the present duties of the Manager of the Executive Office, together with other responsibilities concerned with general administration as assigned to him by the Board of Directors.
The Directors announced that Miss Hazel A. Firth, for many years Manager of the Executive Office, has retired after fifty years of uninterrupted service to The Mother Church. Her service as Manager of the Executive Office began in 1938.
