Window Fruitage

From Portland, Oregon. We feel gratified by the numbers of people who stop to read and enjoy the window displays, many of whom are young people who read aloud and comment. The success of this activity, we feel, is largely the direct result of inspired, spiritual support on the part of the librarian and those who arrange the window display.

From Tulsa, Oklahoma. The display window, located right at the sidewalk, is attracting new interest in Christian Science. A display of children's books in the window caught the eyes of some youngsters. The attendant invited them in, and soon they were asking questions about Christian Science. One little boy said he would like to go to church. The librarian offered to take him to Sunday School the next Sunday, and she did. The following Sunday the little fellow brought his four brothers and sisters to Sunday School and his parents to church. They have been regular attendants since that time.

A young man of intelligent appearance stood at the window for some time reading from Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. Eventually he came into the Reading Room to inquire if Christian Science could help him to complete his education. He was assured that God is an ever-present help in all circumstances and that the study of Christian Science would be of great benefit to him. He returned later to purchase a copy of Science and Health.
