For over forty years I have been a student of Christian Science. There was a small group of Christian Scientists in this little town who met and read the Lesson-Sermon, given in the Quarterly, each week. My mother attended churches of other denominations, but when she heard of Christian Science she was sure that this was what she wanted. She asked me to go to church with her. To please her, I went.

I was very much impressed with the services, and I shall ever be grateful to my mother for encouraging me to attend church with her. I have been a faithful student of Christian Science ever since. Through my study and the help of practitioners, I have had many healings, although I did not begin to study Science for physical healing. Rather, it was because of the truth it taught.

I suffered from headaches and constipation for many years and was very fearful about eating certain kinds of food. I used many material means, but they were of no avail. Through the study of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, and with the help of a practitioner, the conditions were healed. That was over thirty years ago.
