Because Christian Science has given me and my family a new way of life over a period of many years, I am writing this testimony in gratitude to God for the healing of both sinful beliefs and the effects of accidents.

From early childhood I suffered frequently from tonsillitis, and in the early spring of 1917 I was healed of this condition after one visit to a practitioner's office. Through mentally expressing gratitude for this healing, I was healed the next morning of a growth in my nose. And in the years since, I have not suffered again from tonsillitis.

In 1944 my left wrist was severely cut. Fear was expressed by a member of the family who had studied medicine that I might never have the use of my hand again. After working prayerfully for several days, I decided to write to my teacher of Christian Science, and I asked for treatment. Soon I received my healing. I was without the use of the hand for only a few days, and there were no aftereffects.
