RADIO PROGRAM No. 42 - You Can Be Free from Seasonal Ailments

HOST: At this time of the year, there's a good deal in newspapers and magazines, and on radio and television, about seasonal ailments. One of the news magazines spoke of the search for freedom from such ailments in this way: "All around the Northern Hemisphere. .., with winter's assault of colds and influenza near its seasonal peak ... customers went to the corner drugstore to shop for what they hoped would be a cure, or at least a palliative. for their suffering. Whether they called their complaint a cold ... or flu, the answer was the same: for none of these illnesses caused by viruses does medicine have a cure."

A good many people tend to accept seasonal ailments almost as a matter of course. They think of a cold or the flu as something that's catching and goes with bad weather. What do you say about it?

SPEAKER: I'd say it's not catching, and we don't have to accept it and be sick. People in all climates have experienced the healing and protecting power of divine Love— spiritual power that brings freedom from and prevents illness.
