"The Spiritual Mission of Church "

The Tuesday Evening Meeting, which was held in The Mother Church on June 5, 1962, is being shared by tape recording with branches of The Mother Church throughout the world. Comments from them indicate that the content of this meeting, "The Spiritual Mission of Church," has been particularly welcome.

"Our audience was attentive and appreciative," writes a church in California. "The listeners felt great inspiration from the addresses, the theme of which was of vital interest to everyone. There will certainly be much good fruitage from this meeting."

Another comment, this one from Houston, Texas, reports indications of "an unusual spiritual impact in this area" and gives some details of the presentation of the recorded meeting: "Our operator used two machines, thus preventing any interruption for changing reels, and the acoustics of our new edifice are as nearly perfect as can be achieved. There seemed to be no thought of a mechanical recording. One had the feeling that each speaker was actually present. The messages were wonderful, and the clerk has received so many telephone calls inquiring where the meeting will be presented next in this area that we may wish to consider giving it again later in the year."
