Many times I have witnessed healings brought about in my own experience and in that of others through some understanding of the practical and scientific truths of Christian Science and for these and all the loving help I have had along the way, I am very grateful.

At times discouragement has tried to enter in and arrest my progress Spiritward, but, as Mrs. Eddy says (Science and Health, p. 66), "Trials are proofs of God's care." This is enough to satisfy me until I rise, in understanding, to greater heights.

About three years ago, a practitioner helped me to understand the significance of the allegorical mental court case found on pages 430 to 442 of Science and Health, and I am humbly grateful to him for this. I used this understanding in an experience one holiday season.
