I wish to express gratitude for...
I wish to express gratitude for the wonderful healing power of Christian Science which has been proved many times in our family.
One evening several years ago my limbs became uncontrollable. My husband telephoned a Christian Science practitioner, to whom I was unknown, who insisted that I come to the telephone. The impossibility of such a condition as I was experiencing even existing in God's perfect, spiritual kingdom, let alone continuing, was declared to me. I was assured that I could rest peacefully that night and that the practitioner would give me a treatment. When I awoke the next morning, the inharmonious condition had vanished, and it did not return.
After this experience, these words of Mrs. Eddy on page 192 of Science and Health had special meaning for me: "The good you do and embody gives you the only power obtainable." It was evident that I must think and act in a more loving manner.
