Christian Science was brought to the attention of my family over fifty years ago. During the years since, we have had numerous healings, including those of asthma, a hernia, and rheumatic fever.

In 1921 I had a Caesarean section, consent for which was given to the doctor by my husband. About three weeks after the operation the incision opened. The doctor knew that I was a Christian Scientist. He called my father and told him that he was unable to do anything to save me. My Sunday School teacher was called and asked to give me Christian Science treatment. At the end of three weeks the incision was healed. Eight years later I experienced normal childbirth. The attending doctor said the old incision was completely healed, and he would never have believed that such a healing could have taken place if he had not been told about the operation.

Nearly thirty years ago I had a growth on the roof of my mouth. Dentists I visited said an operation would be necessary to remove it. Finally I asked a Christian Science practitioner to help me through prayer. Treatment was started, and I received immediate relief from the pressure. Drainage took place, but otherwise there was no marked change in the condition.
