I wish to express my sincere...
I wish to express my sincere gratitude for Mary Baker Eddy's discovery of Christian Science and for the bountiful blessings received through the spiritual understanding gained from my daily study of the Lesson-Sermon, published in the Christian Science Quarterly, and from the reading of the periodicals.
For a number of years I did not attend any church, but I eventually started reading the Christian Science literature for which a relative was subscribing. I realized that it contained the truth, and a clearer concept of God and man began to unfold to me.
My first healing took place at this same time when I was confronted with an internal irritation. After seeking medical help, which bore no results, I decided to ask for the help of a Christian Science friend. As she lovingly prayed for me I began to read the lesson daily, and in two weeks' time I was healed.
