"The Christian Scientist has enlisted"
"Since man is the representative of Love, he can express only love toward others"
As he reads the newspaper or hears the news on radio or television each day, the alert student of Christian Science will remind himself that "the Christian Scientist has enlisted to lessen evil, disease, and death; and he will overcome them by understanding their nothingness and the allness of God, or good" (Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, p. 450). Considering the kind of news that is generally reported, this may seem so big a task that it is not worth attempting. But the Scientist has learned certain things that make him ready to undertake what seems humanly impossible.
