Several years ago my husband and I went on holiday. I had been ill with spinal trouble, and a medical report indicated that I should possibly never be well enough to have another holiday after this one. However, Christian Science altered the situation.

While we were away I met a practitioner, who, after I told her I had been ill, spoke very kindly to me and allayed the fears I was feeling. Up to this time had not heard of Science. This loving practitioner talked to me for about thirty-five minutes, and I just drank in all that she had to relate. Then I was taken back to the house where we were both staying, and she showed me the Quarterly, in which the weekly Bible Lesson is outlined. I received an instantaneous healing, for when I left her I was well.

Previously I had been obliged to hold to the banister rail when ascending or descending stairs and had had to place both feet on each step, but after this glorious healing I ran up the stairs, joyous and free.
