It is with the greatest joy and gratitude that I share the following experience, hoping that others may be inspired as I have been through reading the helpful testimonies in our literature.

On a Saturday morning I felt uncomfortable before breakfast but received some relief while studying the current Bible Lesson from the Quarterly. Later, when reading a letter, I felt increasingly ill and was rapidly losing consciousness; but I had just time enough to call out to my family for help. They are all sincere students of Christian Science, and after a while, very faintly, I heard the words, "God is your Life," voiced by my husband. I listened closely, and the words grew clearer; and then I was able to declare with the family that God is also man's strength and man's Mind. These truths had immediate effect.

I continued to know that nothing discordant can happen to man, who is actually God's perfect, spiritual child. Although severe bodily symptoms had accompanied the loss of consciousness, I was able to do my shopping shortly afterwards and to take the fifty-mile journey to London alone as planned in order to hear a Christian Science lecture, which I had been looking forward to.
