My gratitude to God for our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for Christian Science, and for the help of a consecrated Christian Scientist in effecting a proof of divine Love's healing power is more than can adequately be expressed in words.

A growth which appeared at my waistline grew larger for several years until it was obvious that something must be done about it. My husband who is not a Christian Scientist, asked what would be wrong about my having a surgeon remove the growth. This awakened me to the need for action; so knowing that "with God all things are possible" (Matt. 19:26), I took a firm stand for Truth.

I asked a practitioner to help me, and with much faith and confidence we went forward to work the problem out in Christian Science for the glory of God. The practitioner did prayerful work and in a few days invited me to read an article entitled "Love Heals" in an issue of The Herald of Christian Science (Norwegian Edition). This article mentioned a condition similar to the one I had and explained how it was healed in Christian Science.
